Secretary General

Caroline Peters is a third year double majoring in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law (PPL) and Government with a minor in Religious Studies. She served as Chargé d'Affaires of VIGMUN last year and was a delegate the year before. She is especially excited to see the conference grow in quality of debate and resolution writing, and she hopes that delegates will both learn and have fun throughout the conference. Chargé d’Affaires

Shivani Saboo is a second year in the Engineering School studying Computer Science and business. She was the Director General for VIGMUN last year and is so excited to see the new heights VIGMUN will reach this year. Outside of VIGMUN, Shivani is the USG of Delegations for VAMUN and travels with UVA's Model UN team as well. In her free time she enjoys taking pictures of her dog and watching Friends. She is most looking forward to see a greater variety in the age and experience of delegates this year and hopes this will make debate even more meaningful and unique. Shivani can be contacted at 


Director General

Caitlin Kwalwasser is a second year in the College of Arts and Sciences from New York studying Foreign Affairs and Religious Studies. When she isn't preparing training guides and doing research as Director General for VIGMUN IV, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends. Besides being involved with the International Relations Organization here at the University, Caitlin is an investigator for the University Judiciary Committee and a teacher with the Charlottesville Debate League. Within IRO, she has served as a chair for the club's college Model UN conference, VICS, and as the Chief of Staff for the high school conference, VAMUN. Director General

Ishaan Veen is a first year in the College of Arts and Sciences from Washington, D.C. hoping to study Finance and Mathematics. Outside of VIGMUN, Ishaan is a member of UVA's Model UN travel team for the collegiate circuit, plays IM basketball, and is miserably rooting for D.C. sports teams. He's really excited to see how the delegates will handle the topic at hand and hopes they all will enjoy a fun and educational weekend on Grounds. He can also be contacted at


Under Secretary General of Logistics

Monica Sebastian is a second year student from Ellicott City, Maryland looking to study Economics and Government. She previously served as the Under-Secretary-General for Logistics for VIGMUN III and USG of Internal Relations for VAMUN XXXVII. Before becoming a student at the University of Virginia, Monica participated in Model UN at Mount Hebron High School and was Secretary-General her senior year. Monica is extremely excited and honored to serve on the Secretariat for VIGMUN IV and is looking forward to making it an enjoyable and educational conference for all those involved! Under Secretary General of Media and Publicity

Andrea Eichenberger is a first year in the College of Arts and Sciences, from Richmond, VA. She (currently) hopes to major in Global Development Studies and complete a Masters of Public Policy. In addition to being USG of Media and Publicity for VIGMUN, Andrea is also USG of Media and Design for VICS, and a vice chair at VAMUN. Before coming to UVA, she was Secretary General of her high school's conference two years in a row. Outside of model un, Andrea also loves playing and listening to music, painting, and watching TV instead of doing homework. She can be contacted at
